DESCRIPTION:There was an action last Monday, March 19--the beginning of the fifth year 
 of the war on Iraq--where VFP members Ted Sexauer , Bill Schwalb, and Paul 
 Cox accompanied MFSO and IVAW members to Pelosi’s office in the SF 
 Federal building and refused to leave until the Congresswoman agreed to 
 stop funding the war.  Twelve of us were arrested and cited for creating a 
 disturbance.\n\n \n\nNOW, Pelosi and many of the other Democrats have 
 passed a funding bill for the war, thereby buying it.  Tomorrow, Monday, 
 March 26, at 10:30, we are going to return to the Pelosi’s office to 
 present her with a formal Certificate of Ownership of the war.  MFSO has 
 made up a great certificate and would like VFP to participate.  \n\nWe will 
 NOT be inviting arrest, and the action will consist of a press conference 
 and short presentation ceremony.  Please try to come by.  10:30 am.

 office\n\n \n\nHello,\n\n \n\nAs you've most likely heard, the House passed 
 the Supplemental Appropriations Bill this morning, providing additional 
 funding for the ongoing war in Iraq . Only 8 Democrats acted as true 
 leaders, refused to give in, and voted against the Bill.  You can read the 
 roll call at www.afterdowningstr eet.org.  \n\n \n\nThis means that the 
 Democrats can no longer point the finger of blame for this war at the 
 Republicans.  They've now bought the war; they own it; they must take 
 responsibility for the military personnel and innocent Iraqis who will die 
 as a result of this action.  Many of us want them to know how disappointed 
 we are in their action, and their unwillingness to stand up to the 
 Administration, and we want them to own the responsibility that is now 
 theirs.  Because Pelosi crafted the Bill and worked so hard to get it 
 passed, she is the initial focus of our attention.  There will be a press 
 conference at the Federal Building in S.F. on Monday, March 26, at 10:30 
 a.m., where we will explain all of this.  Afterwards, members of MFSO, 
 GSFSO, IVAW, and VFP will deliver a Certificate of Ownership to Pelosi's 
 office.  A copy of the certificate is available on the MFSO website, for
