DESCRIPTION:The San Francisco Public Defender’s Office Clean Slate Program recently 
 opened its new Satellite office in the Mission District, at the Arriba 
 Juntos Community Resource Center on November 20, 2006. The Clean Slate 
 Program provides legal representation to assist community members with 
 clearing their criminal history records so that they are not an obstacle to 
 obtaining employment, housing, professional licenses, certifications, legal 
 immigration status and other opportunities. The new Satellite office 
 provides free drop-in clinics every Monday from 2-4p.m, for individuals to 
 speak with an Attorney and/or Paralegal about their Criminal History 
 Record.\n\nThe Grand Opening Celebration Event is scheduled to take place 
 on Saturday, April 07, 2007, from 12:00-3:00 p.m.  It will be located in 
 the parking lot of Arriba Juntos at 1850 Mission Street in San Francisco. 
 The event will include free food, client testimonials and a performance by 
 two live bands, “Puro Bandido” and “Bell Bottoms.”  The Celebration 
 is free and open to the public.\n\n
