 and 1 child a citizen. We now have a vehicle to help  protect our U.S. 
 \ncitizen children from the devastating effects of deportation:  THE CHILD 
 CITIZEN \nPROTECTION ACT (HR 1176); introduced by Congressman Jose  Serrano 
 (D-NY). The \nbill would allow an immigration judge to consider the best  
 interest of U.S. \ncitizen children before deporting their parent.\n

 both \nlocally and nationally to promote this vital legislation.
