DESCRIPTION:The Day Labor Program, the Mission Anti-Displacement Coalition (MAC), 
 St.\nPeter's Housing Committee, Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center, 
 Dolores\nStreet Community Services, and others are working to convince a 
 developer of\nluxury condos to sell us the space on the corner of Cesar 
 Chavez and Mission\nBlvd. in order to build a large worker center on the 
 ground floor and\naffordable housing for low-income folks and their 
 families. \n\n \n\nDay Laborers, Immigrants, and low income folks are sick 
 of the rich kicking\nthem out of their space and destroying their 
 community!!! We need to do a\nbit more convincing to make sure the 
 developer turns over the land. \n\n \n\nThe developer has organized a 
 community meeting to receive input on his\nproposal for luxury condos and 
 yet another Walgreens! We need to arrive in\nMASS in order to tell him what 
 we want. We need your help to make sure there\nare more of us then those 
 that want to rid the streets of day laborers. So\nhere's the plan and we 
 hope hope hope you join us!!! \n\n \n\nMeet at the Day Labor Program at 
 5:00 p.m. to have dinner together and\nbriefly organize. Walk over to St. 
 Lucas Hospital at 5:50 p.m. so we arrive\nto the community meeting which 
 starts at 6:00 p.m. We hope you can join us\nat the program, but if not, 
 please meet us directly at the meeting.\n\n \n\nWhen?              Tuesday
