 an organization\nthat has been fighting for 40 years against the 
 most\nviolent repressive regime in Latin America .\n    \nCome and hear the 
 witness who was not allowed to testify.\n    \nImelda Daza Cotes was an 
 activist and a member of the\nPatriotic Union (UP) in Colombia . The UP was 
 a leftist\nthird party created through peace accords. Four thousand 
 UP\nmembers, candidates, and elected officials, were\nassassinated by the 
 right-wing government supported\nmilitary forces. Daza Cotes fled Colombia 
 to protect her\nlife. She will speak about the US intervention in 
 Plan\nColombia , the repression of the Colombian government, and\nthe 
 injustice of Palemera's and Anayibe Rojas Valderrama's\ncases.\n    \nWhen:
