 is proud to present the exhibition, "my love is a 187"\nfeaturing work 
 by:\n\nMARK BRADFORD (Los Angeles, CA)\nBradford presents a new large scale 
 work from The “Lucky Project”  -- an “excavated” and altered 
 billboard; as well as “Alexandria,” found and altered video footage.  
 Bradford’s work explores global consumerism, art\nand 
 artifice.\n\n\nTITUS KAPHAR (New York, NY)\nKaphar’s paintings present an 
 alternate view to  the enslaved, in\nservitude or impoverished 
 representation and portrayal of Blacks in American 18th and 19th century 
 painting.\n\nSHINIQUE SMITH\nMs. Smth was present  a  “bundled”  
 installation made from the collection and accumulation of unwanted objects, 
 spiritual philosophies, and words, reflecting and commenting upon popular 
 culture and global economies.\n\nMICKELENE THOMAS\nThomas will exhibit 
 mixed media paintings with rhinestones; large scalecolor photographs and 
 will create a  mixed media  installation. Her workexplores the marketing 
 and consumption of Black femininity and exoticismwithin US popular 
 culture.\n\n300 DPI JPEGS ARE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST as well as complete
