DESCRIPTION:Sunday, 2/18: His Girl Friday\n\nLocation: Fools Foundation - 1025 19th
St. Off of K St, between 19th and 20th, next to the back-end of Old
Spaghetti Factory. 3:00 PM. Admission: $5.00.\n\nThis 1940 remake of
“The Front Page” features Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell in a
hilarious, hyperventilating romantic comedy which delivers dialog at
break-neck speed. Cary Grant portrays newspaper editor Walter, whose
ex-wife and star reporter is Hildy (Russell). One day Hildy shows up to
tell him she's quitting and getting re-married, Walter convinces her to
take on one last "easy" assignment - an interview with a death-row inmate
 found guilty of killing a policeman. Throw-in a jailbreak, a suicide, a
shooting, corrupt city officials and you've suddenly got one of the first
and best screwball comedies ever!\n\nWe are doing regular weekly film
screenings with Fools Foundation on Fridays at 7 PM and Sundays at 3 PM -
most are $5 (unless otherwise noted in advance), and will have filmmakers
out from time to time. \n\n\nYou can always check
