DESCRIPTION:Dance to the best of Salsa, Old-school Funk, Progressive Hip-Hop &
Reggae/ton with DJ Sandina\n\nAll ages welcome - wheelchair
accessible\n\nNational Radio Project was contacted by the U.S. Army in
December, after airing an interview with Lieutenant Ehren Watada, the first
US Army officer to refuse to return to Iraq on the grounds that it is an
illegal war. Lt. Watada faces a Court Martial and possibly 6 years behind
bars for speaking out and setting an example for members of the armed
forces.\n\nMeet and support Sarah Olson and Dahr Jamail, independent
journalists who object to being ordered to testify against Lt.
Watada.\n\nCome dance in celebration of Freedom of Speech! Support the
Oakland-based National Radio Project -- one of the few media outlets
speaking truth to power. Our weekly program Making Contact, is heard
locally on KPFA 94.1 FM on Fridays at 1:30pm and 200 radio stations around
the country.\n\nIt's just $10 at the door - more if you can, less if you
 can't!\n\n https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2007/01/11/18345790.php
