 94541.\nWHY: Last week, the DEA closed down the Local Patients Cooperative. 
 \nTonight, the City Council will consider whether or not to extend it's 3 
 \nyear old agreement with the Hayward Patients Resource Center which is 
 \nset to expire December 31st. This collective has been operating for 
 \nseveral years with little or no complaints from patients or community 
 \nmembers. Patients in Hayward deserve a community distribution collective 
 \nin their city. Please come and tell the Council you support them in 
 \ntheir commitment to safe access for patients who need this medicine!
