\n\nWIND OVER WATER \n\nThis short documentary chronicles the debate over
the Cape Wind Project, an offshore wind farm proposed for off the southern
coast of Cape Cod, Massachusetts. With similar facilities spreading
throughout Europe, many people got excited at the prospect of the first
offshore wind project ever to be proposed for American shores. However,
quite a few residents of the Cape banded together to stop the project and
prevent its developers from turning Nantucket Sound into what they
categorized as an industrial energy complex. This battle, still ongong,
between environmentalists and residents of the Cape of Massachusetts is
told with a colorful cast of characters. The struggle has developed into an
intriguing representation of people’s attitudes toward land, energy,
politics and NIMBY (Not In My Back Yard) in the U.S. 15 minutes

the impact on climate change that the largest company in the world,
ExxonMobil, has on governments, the media, and citizens. While the
Earth’s climate is pushed further out of balance by increasing use of
fossil fuels, ExxonMobil continues to assert undue influence around the
world -- making record profits while ignoring climate science for which
there has been overwhelming consenus for over ten years. The film also
outlines what can be done about global warming. 60 minutes
