 County Board of Supervisors\nvoted to delay local implementation of 
 California’s\nmedical marijuana ID card program until a ruling 
 was\npassed down in a lawsuit initiated in San Diego. San\nDiego County was 
 refusing to implement the ID program\nand filed a lawsuit against the 
 state, claiming that\nour medical marijuana laws were preempted by 
 federal\nlaw.\n\nFortunately, on December 6, the Superior Court denied\nSan 
 Diego's heartless claim and ruled in favor of\nCalifornia's long-standing 
 medical marijuana laws.\nNext Tuesday, the Stanislaus County Board 
 of\nSupervisors will be conducting their first meeting\nsince this landmark 
 ruling. Patients and advocates\nwill be speaking during the 'public 
 comment' period to\nask the board to take up the ID card issue again, 
 now\nthat the San Diego suit is resolved.\n\nPlease attend this important
