DESCRIPTION:Please join our celebration with one of the Hawaiian Goddesses-Laka. She is 
 the Goddess of Hula, Love, and the Forest. Hula is a form of prayer in 
 motion and we will be moving and dancing. If you would like to offer a 
 dance as a prayer or an offering for this ceremony please let me know. 
 There is no separation between those who dance/move and those who don't. We 
 are all poetry in motion so please join this celebration as an honoring of 
 self, the body and the Earth.\n \nCelebrate Laka, Goddess of Hula\nTuesday, 
 November 28, 7:30 p.m.\n(note date change from Nov. 30)\ncome early at 6:30 
 for a viewing of the movie\nQueen Liliuokalani: Hawaii's Last Reigning 
 Monarch\nLafayette, locale-Directions upon RSVP\n$30 newcomers/$40 on time 
 or see\nwebsite for exchange rates/discounts:\nDaughters of the Goddess \n 
 \nPlease bring two small or one large bouquet of flowers for Haku Lei 
 making. Bring a sarong, pareo or cloth wrap. Please also bring a candle 
 that is any color of the rainbow. Dress in Aloha wear and bring your 
 favorite Hawaiian CD's or music. If you play an instrument- especially 
 guitar or ukelele please bring your instrument and  plan to offer a 
 mele/song to Laka. If you have any sacred water from Hawai'i, please bring 
 it to use/offer in the ritual.\n \nWe will be celebrating what we are 
 thankful for in our lives and what we love about ourselves and our lives.\n 
 \nDaughters of the Goddess is a Dianic, womyn-only Goddess Temple dedicated 
 in the Spirit of Aloha to the preservation and perpetuation of Goddess 
 culture, public ceremony, ritual, and Womyn's Mysteries.  \n
