 conservation biologist with the Mountain Lion Foundation, will explore the 
 natural history, biology, and behavior of Mountain Lions, and discuss the 
 ecological importance of conserving lion populations. He’ll also address 
 how conflicts between Mountain Lions and humans can be avoided, and offer 
 insight into the complex sociopolitical issues that affect the relationship 
 between humans and Mountain Lions in the American West. \n\n \n\nA trained 
 wildlife biologist, Chris Papouchis has worked for several federal and 
 state agencies researching a variety of wildlife species throughout the 
 West. He works with Mountain Lion researchers, wildlife managers, and 
 communities to promote scientifically based and socially acceptable 
 conservation and management strategies for Mountain Lions in the western 
 states. Chris holds an MS in environmental studies from Antioch University, 
 where he is completing a PhD focused on Mountain Lion conservation.
