 including medical personnel, women and youth have already been killed in 
 the past five days in Israel’s most recent offensive against Gaza with no 
 end in sight. \n\nPrime Minister Ehud Olmert pledged Sunday to press ahead 
 with Israel's offensive in northern Gaza, brushing off international calls 
 to halt the aggression and the growing humanitarian crisis in Gaza – 
 inadequate electricity and medicine and dwindling supplies of water, food 
 and other staples.

 solidarity with the more than two hundred women of Beit Hanoun who were 
 shot at with live ammunition during a nonviolent demonstration on Friday, 
 killing two women, and wounding numerous others.
