DESCRIPTION:Based on a screenplay penned by Ed Wood - who also spent years trying to
get it into production - this 1998 film stars Billy Zane (who also produced
it) as a mental patient who escapes from an institution dressed in nurse
drag. He robs a bank, kills a loan officer and hides the stolen loot in a
coffin in a cemetery (Ed Wood DID write this after all). When he later
finds the money missing, he assumes it was taken by one of the attendees
that had been at a nearby funeral, so sets out to hunt them down one by
one. Oh - and he can't stand loud noises. I mean - he REALLY can't stand
loud noises. The film was made without dialogue, just as it was originally
written. Campy, over-acted, over the top, and packed with star power -
here's a sampling of some of the people who show up in this: Christina
Ricci, Nicollette Sheridan, Ron Perlman, Sandra Bernhard, Tippi Hedren, Ann
Magnuson, Eartha Kitt, Andrew McCarthy, Bud Cort, Max Perlich, Vampira,
Conrad Brooks (an Ed Wood staple!), Karen Black, Summer Phoenix, Tara Reid,
John Ritter, Kathy Wood (Ed Wood's wife of many years) and yes, even more!
\n\nYou do NOT want to miss this rare chance to see this fun lost film
lovingly and literally made from Ed Wood's deranged script being brought to
Sacto through the generous cooperation of the producers.\n\nAdmission is
$5.00 - digital projection on to a big screen. Seating is on folding
chairs - feel free to bring a pillow or cushion.\n
