 Lebanon, rabidly racist legislation being passed in the legislature against 
 immigrants, rising tuition costs, and UC workers losing their pensions, NOW 
 is the time to speak out against the injustices in our world and in our 
 community.\n\nAdditionally, the Houes and Senate passed a bill to spend 
 over $1 billion to build a 700-mile fence along the US-Mexico border. This 
 fence will push immigrant workers trying to cross the border deeper into 
 the desert, and more of them will die because of it.  Plus, they voted to 
 give $448 billion to the\nPentagon to continue the occupations of Iraq and 
 Afghanistan. \n\nWe need to converge, discuss the problems, work out 
 solutions, organize and agitate.\n\nCome to the open mic so you can have
