 against medical\nmarijuana activists Ed Rosenthal and Rick Watts, their 
 defense is\npreparing itself for a potential trial. The defense for Watts, 
 who had\nnot been prosecuted previously due to illness, is refuting his 
 further\nappearance as he did not waive his right to a speedy trial yet is 
 being\nbrought into court three years after the fact. Meanwhile, the 
 defense\nfor Rosenthal is not convinced the case will go to trial. 
 Nevertheless,\nthe grand jury proceedings are expected to take place on 
 October 11th,\nand the case is scheduled to go to trial on October 23rd. We
