 the globe.  In Appalachia, Wells Fargo finances various coal operators 
 engaged in mountaintop removal, a strip mining process known for its 
 destructive effect on eco-systems and local communities.  In Alaska, they 
 support efforts to undermine environmental protections and speed up the 
 rate of forest destruction.  In the Amazon, they have financed the 
 disenfranchisement of indigenous nations and the clear cutting of pristine
