DESCRIPTION:On Sunday, September 17th, from 1-4 pm, Target will hold a fundraiser to 
 support the construction of one of their giant big box stores in Davis at 
 1756, Picasso.\n\nAs we all know, Target's proposal would shut down small 
 business,\nincrease traffic congestion, and be a huge burden on the 
 nearby\nneighborhood.\n\nLast but not least, Target employs abominable 
 labor practices that can\nbe described only as slavery. Workers have been 
 beaten, had their\npassports confiscated, and otherwise abused at the hands 
 of\nmanufacturers working for Target.\n\nThe party is being billed as a 
 "fun for the whole family" This lie\nignores the fact that children are 
 being abused daily at the hands\nTarget's capitalist exploiters in 
 Jordan.\n\nThe DAA collective is calling all opponents of Target to gather 
 and\nprotest Target and their atrocities.\n\nSunday\n1-4 pm.\nOutside the 
 E-Suite on Picasso Street.\nBring signs, banners, whistles, noisemakers, 
 pots, and pans!\n\nThere will be a spokescouncil on Saturday at 2:00 at the 
 Delta of\nVenus restaraunt to plan the demonstration.\n\nUntil every 
 factory is occupied! Until every forest is defended!\n
