DESCRIPTION:At Sacramento Pride, a large group or protesters showed up un-announced and 
 surprised our community. This time we will be prepared.\n\nRainbow Festival 
 is labor day weekend at 20th and K streets downtown in the heart of our 
 community. The Festival organizers are doing a great job working with the 
 Sacramento P. D. They have arranged for great security, planned to set up 
 blocks and gates to ensure everyone in the festival has a great time. 
 However, we do expect a large group of anti-gay protesters outside of the 
 event.\n\nWe will be organizing the main counter protest outside of the 
 gates to directly buffer the festival and the make sure our community is 
 supported. We will have signs, banners, and a plan on what to do in 
 different situations. We are asking everyone NOT to directly confront the 
 protesters on your own. Please join in with an organized group, go through 
 and orientation, and be safe. There are several different organizations 
 that are planning parts of the counter protests. Ask your favorite local 
 GLBT organizations if they will be represented, or feel free to join in 
 here at Stand Up Sacramento!\n\nWe will meet at 20th and L street for an 
 early orientation.  If you come late, go inside of the festival and find
