DESCRIPTION:JOURNEY INTO THE ARAB WORLD AT LARGEST \nARAB CULTURAL FESTIVAL IN NORTHERN
CALIFORNIA\n\nWHAT: \nThe Arab Cultural and Community Center is proud to
present “Lissa Faker” (“Do You Still Remember”), the 12th Annual
Arab Cultural Festival, an event that marks the largest celebration of Arab
heritage in Northern California. Join us on this daylong gathering on
September 17th to commemorate the arts, entertainment, food, traditions,
and most importantly the spirit of the Arab people. Considering the crisis
in the Arab World, we feel it is important to continue to hold the Festival
to show the resilience of the Arab people and culture to thrive despite all
odds.\n\nThe festival is a nostalgic experience for the Arab-American
community as it features traditional artists and performances reflecting
the diverse cultures of the Arab World. For the larger San Francisco Bay
Area Community the festival is a reminder of how harmoniously the Arab
culture blends with the overall diversity that the Bay Area takes pride
in.\n\nFeatured Entertainment includes: Folk singers, North African music
by the Dunes, a “Turbo Tabla” performance by Karim Nagi, Hip-Hop by The
Philistines, Comedy by Gina Mahmoud, Debkeh by Al-Juzoor, Fashion show of
traditional Arab clothing, and much more!\n\nBooth Bazaar includes: Antique
jewelry from the Arab World, Arabic Cuisine, Henna, informational booths
for many Arab non-profit organizations, Artwork by Arab artist, a
