 playshop for the local green\ncommunity. Each month we present a different 
 theme which is tied into\nour newsletter, movie night and playshop.\n\nWe 
 invite special guests from local organizations who provide\ninspiring 
 solutions on the current

 SYNOPSIS\n\nAn inspiring afternoon of insight and inspiration about 
 our\nrelationship to our water and our watershed. Ben Jordan, 
 local\npermaculture designer, civil engineer, biofuel guru and water 
 wizard\nwill bring his knowledge and solutions to share in a polylog 
 playshop\nwhere we can all learn from each other.\n\nWhat can I do to 
 conserve water?\nWhere does my water come from? What's in it? Where does it 
 go?\nWhat would the sustainable urban watershed look like?\nWhat about 
 composting toilets? What about roof rainwater catchment?\nWhat about 
 greenroofs and impervious surfaces? What about water filters?\n\nBring all 
 these questions and more for an adventure into a visionary\nsalon where we 
 will leave with a set of tools, tips, tricks,\ntechnologies and a vivid 
 mental tableau for a shared common, clean,\nhealthy, vibrant 
 watershed!\n\nAbout Ben Jordan:\n\nBenjamin P. Jordan, P.E., Technical 
 Consultant, provides civil\nengineering expertise for sustainable 
 ecological design projects\nincluding water conservation, biodiesel 
 production and permaculture\neducation. He has extensive experience in the 
 design and construction\nof municipal and residential utility 
 infrastructure, biodiesel market\ndevelopment in San Francisco and 
 sustainable community development\nprojects. Before establishing an 
 ecological design and education firm,\nMr. Jordan worked for four years for 
 private engineering consultants\nand has certifications in green design, 
 composting education and tank\ninspection. Mr. Jordan holds a California 
 Professional Civil\nEngineering License and a B.S. degree in Civil and 
 Environmental\nEngineering from the University of Michigan. He is the 
 founder of\nHealthy Fuels, a non-profit organization that promotes 
 sustainable and\nenvironmentally sound biofuels.\n\n
