 the \npassage of California's Proposition 215. Bryan was arrested June 25, 
 \n1997, after Butte County sheriff's officers discovered marijuana plants 
 \ngrowing in the basement of his home in Chico. Bryan was released on bail 
 \nAugust 9, 2004, pending his appeal. He currently awaits re-sentencing by 
 \nthe District Court.\n
