DESCRIPTION:The Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center’s is hosting the 13th annual 
 ‘Hillwide’ Garage Sale event on Saturday, August 19th from 9:00 a.m. to 
 4:00 p.m.  Please join us at this amazing community event that directly 
 benefits the seniors of Bernal Heights and the Excelsior District.  There 
 are Four ways that you can participate in this event; (1) Register to be an 
 official garage sale site and get rid of unwanted items and turn them into 
 cash, (2) Donate items to the BHNC’s huge garage sale at 515 Cortland and 
 take the tax right off, (3) Come shop on the day of the sale and buy untold 
 garage sale treasures, (4) Pass on this information to EVERYONE you know!  
 In 2005, there were over 100 sites located throughout Bernal Heights and we 
 were voted in 2003 the “Best Five & Dime Street Sale” by the SF Bay 
 Guardian.  \n\nThe Official Garage Sale map with all site information will 
 be available at the BHNC from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 515 Cortland Avenue on 
 the day of the event. There is still time to register for an official 
 garage sale site. Please contact our Hillwide Hotline at 206-2140 x130 or 
 download and application on our website at www.bhnc.org.  The garage sale 
 registration fee is $22 for 2006 BHNC members or $27 for non-members. The 
 street sale registration fee is $40 per site to be located on Cortland 
 Avenue.  Proceeds from this event support the programs and services of the 
 Senior Services Department of the BHNC. \n\n
