 Immigration Authorities)\n\nTuesday, August 29, 8:00 pm \nShowing "Letters 
 from the Other Side" \n\nInterweaves video letters carried across the 
 U.S./Mexico border with the intimate stories of women left behind in 
 post-NAFTA Mexico. By focusing on a side of the immigration story rarely 
 told by the media or touched upon in our national debate, LETTERS paints a 
 complex portrait of families torn apart by economics, communities dying at 
 the hands of globalization, and governments incapable or unwilling to do 
 anything about it.\n\n\nPart of an ongoing monthly series showcasing 
 radical films and supporting local organizing. Films are shown on the patio 
 at El Rio every month.\n\nEvent is free, but donations accepted. Space is 
 wheelchair accessible, but bathrooms are not. 21 and over. For more

 Serie de Peliculas Revolucionarias en el local de\nEl Rio, 3158 Mission St. 
 @ Cesar Chavez, San Francisco\n\nUn beneficio para la coalición Deporten a 
 la Migra\n\nmartes, 29 de augusto, 8pm\nPelicula: Cartas del Otro Lado 
 \n\nes un recuento de la vida de varias mujeres, en forma de cartas en 
 video, en ambos lados de la frontera mexicano-estadounidense en las 
 postrimerías del Tratado de Libre Comercio.\n\nParte de una serie mensual 
 de peliculas radicales que apoya a organizaciones locales.  Mostramos las 
 peliculas en el patio de El Rio una vez al mes.  El evento es gratis, pero 
 aceptamos donaciones.  \n\nEl lugar es accesible para incapacitados, pero 
 lamentablemente los baños no lo son. Solo para personas que tienen más de
