DESCRIPTION:Girlstock is an annual fundraising arts event that fosters community and 
 benefits populations in need while showcasing and celebrating female and 
 transgendered artists. \n\nAt this year’s festival, music, food, and art 
 enthusiasts are invited to feast on two days of female and transgendered 
 creative expression while helping raise funds for the Postive Resource 
 Center and Pets Are Wonderful Support, two nonprofit San Francisco agencies 
 dedicated to improving the quality of life for those at risk for or living 
 with HIV/AIDS and other disabling illnesses. As always, gentlemen are 
 welcome and encouraged to attend the event.\n\nAnd here are the 
 details:\n\nDAY ONE: Sunday, 9/17 at Trace Gallery, 312 Valencia Street, 
 SF, CA - Fabulous food, drink, djs, music, art, bellydancing and a live 
 "affordable" auction hosted by fierce drag queen, Diva Dan.  Featuring the 
 music of Judea Eden (www.judeaeden.com), Jayde Blade (www.jaydeblade.com),  
 the punk theatrical performance of Carrie Baum and Jessica Fudim's 
 "Dreamboat, Where are you?", the bellydancing of ISIS, and DJ's Sara Bee 
 Selecta' and Maei Flowers.\n\nProceeds from both days of Girlstock #4 will 
 be divided between the Positive Resource Center (www.positiveresource.org), 
 and Pets Are Wonderful Support (www.pawssf.org).  DAY TWO of Girlstock No. 
 4 is at the Elbo Room on Saturday, 9/23.  Come out and see some of SF's 
 hottest girl and trans bands, and DJs!\n\n\n
