 the Community Media Center in Palo Alto.\n\nAs Israel’s massive assaults 
 on Lebanon and Gaza continue, U.S. relations with Europe are near the 
 breaking point.  Europe and the United Nations are urgently calling for a 
 cease-fire – pleas that are ignored by the U.S. and Israel.\n\nWhat is 
 Israel trying to accomplish with its targeting of civilian infrastructure?  
 What are the long-term ramifications for the region?  Could events spin out 
 of control?  And why does the U.S. appear to be sitting idly by?\n\nPlease
