DESCRIPTION:Meet two amazing community organizers and labor leaders on a speaking tour 
 from Haiti!\n\nGinette Apollon is a community organizer, grassroots leader 
 and President of the Commission of Women Workers within one of the largest 
 labor federations in Haiti, the Confederation des Travailleurs Haitiens 
 (CTH). She is also a founding member and President of the community 
 organization known as The Centre de Reintegration Economique et Sociale des 
 Femmes Haitiennes (CRESFHA), which organizes primarily working-class women 
 around issues of women's rights, education, HIV/AIDS prevention and 
 treatment, and economic empowerment.\n\nRea Dol is also a community 
 organizer, grassroots leader and coordinator of a federation of women's 
 organizations that focus primarily on issues of women's rights, education, 
 HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, and economic empowerment. She is also a 
 member of the community organization known as SOPUDEP (Society of 
 Providence United for the Development of Petionville) and is the co-founder 
 and director of the SOPUDEP school that serves the educational needs of the 
 community's poorer children.\n\n$10 suggested donation.  Coffee and food 
 will be served at the event.  Profits benefit economic development projects
