DESCRIPTION:Come join the National Week of Action to Stop threats from Bush's National
Labor Board on Our Right to Organize!\nMarches & rallies around the country
held as decisions get made -- Los Angeles, Chicago...\n\n...March in
Downtown Oakland! with the California Nurses Association\n\nJuly 11,
Tuesday, 11:30am\n\nMarch to the Federal Building @ 1301 Clay Street,
Oakland (off 12th Street BART)\n\n\n* In recent cases, the Bush-appointed
National Labor Relations Board has taken away workers' protections and
workers' rights, including the rights of disabled workers, temporary
employees and graduate employees.\n\n* This summer could bring more such
decisions from the Bush Labor Board in cases collectively called 'Kentucky
River'. These cases will serve to clarify issues left open by the Supreme
Court case of NLRB v. Kentucky River Community Care.\n\n* The 'Kentucky
River' decisions could strip hundreds of thousands of workers of their
rights under federal labor law. At issue is a revised definition of
'supervisor' which could potentially affect workers in a wide range of
industries, including health care, building and construction, energy,
broadcast and port shipping.\n\n*** bring your banners & union colors!
