DESCRIPTION:The Agape Foundation-Fund for Nonviolent Social Change is pleased to 
 announce a Request for Proposals for the Board of Trustees Fall 2006 grant 
 cycle. We welcome proposals from  small, California-based, grassroots 
 organizations working for nonviolent social change.\n\nAgape funds 
 organizations that are addressing the following issues:\nPeace, Human 
 Rights, Environmental Protection, Economic Justice,\nProgressive Arts & 
 Media, and Grassroots Organizing Support.\n\nOrganizations must be five 
 years old or younger, with annual budgets\nunder $100,000. The Foundation 
 also funds the distribution of social\nissue media, including films, 
 videos, radio programs, compact discs,\nvinyl records and books.\n\nPlease 
 take a moment to think about whom among your networks of friends and 
 colleagues might be interested in an RFP (Request for Proposal). Copies of
