DESCRIPTION:Spring Equinox Drumming, to honor the new Earth, renewal, life, and peace. 
 Bring your drumming items and participate!  (tin cans, water jugs, and 
 recycled objects encouraged). The event will begin with the Sweetwater 
 Singers: American Indian Powwow Drum Group, a Northern Plains-style 
 Intertribal Powwow drum group made up of San Francisco State University 
 faculty and students and Bay Area American Indian community members.   Once 
 they get us going, it will be improv drumming by the audience until we 
 tire.  The first event of the "Native Spring Festival" sponsored by the
