 VICTORY CELEBRATION! \nCome celebrate this Tuesday, election night, with 
 the San Francisco Green \nParty, Medea Benjamin, Ron Dicks, Labor and the 
 scores of volunteers that \nworked like crazy to secure passage of the 
 solar power and public power \ninitiatives and to elect Medea & Ron. 
 \nTemple Bar, \n8 PM, 600 Polk Street(@ Turk Street). \n\nOn Tuesday San 
 Francisco has the opportunity to begin a grassroots energy \nrevolution. By 
 passing the solar and public power initiatives we can put \nourselves at 
 the forefront of a movement for renewable energy in the US. B \n& H will 
 bring it directly, and F & I will bring it by putting profits \ntowards 
 renewable resource development instead of towards excessive profits \nfor 
 corporations. Public power averages 20% cheaper than private power. LA 
 \nand Sacramento have public power, and during the so-called "energy 
 crisis" \nsaw no rate increases and no blackouts. PG&E has spent $1.7 
 million to \ndefeat I & F, and the election could swing either way despite 
 the massive \ngrassroots efforts that have been occurring over the past few 
 weeks and \nmonths. This is why it is so important that everyone get out to 
 vote on \nTuesday. Forward this e-mail to all your friends in San
