 and its increasingly unilateral actions, does the U.N. hold any value? Join 
 us for a discussion to hear about the many contributions the world 
 organization is making to sustainable development and world peace and learn 
 why the U.N. will continue to play a vital role in the future.\n\nWe are 
 proud to present Dr. Robert Muller, former UN Assistant Secretary General 
 and Chancellor Emeritus of the University for Peace in Costa Rica. Known 
 throughout the world as a peacemaker who has worked closely with three 
 Secretaries General, Dr. Muller has won countless awards for his fresh 
 thinking about directions the world should take towards peace.  Come hear 
 his ideas in this time of conflict and change.  Margaret Mead called him 
 "The most brilliant man in the UN!" Following the presentation, Dr. Muller 
 will answer questions from the audience and make himself available to 
 autograph his recent biography Prophet-The Hatmaker's Son, by Douglas 
 Gillies (www.eastbeach.org). Susan J. Zipp will speak about the Earth 
 Charter (www.earthcharter.org).\n\nThis reception and program are sponsored
