DESCRIPTION:Saturday, October 26, 2002\n\n\nThis will be a hands on workshop held in a 
 Berkeley garden that is built from local native plants. We will touch on 
 many aspects of what is sometimes called "restoration gardening": 
 philosophy, ecology, design, local plant sources, and home propagation. The 
 class is led by two local landscape gardeners. Lyn Talkovsky has been an 
 East Bay landscape gardener for ten years and specializes in local native 
 plants. Glen Schneider, besides gardening, is writing a Natural History 
 Field Guide to the East Bay. Class size will be limited to fifteen.** 
 Preregistration is required.** Held offsite. Location: Ecology Center, 2530 
 San Pablo Avenue, near Dwight Way, Berkeley. Time: 10 am - 2 pm. Cost: $15 
 Ecology Center members, $25 others, no one turned away for lack of funds.
