DESCRIPTION:Can you spare a shirt?\n\nThe Women\'s Building will be hosting a display 
 of the Clothesline Project, October 14 - 31 for Domestic Violence Awarenss 
 Month. The display will be co-sponsored by San Francisco NOW Education 
 Fund.\n\nWe\'re looking for donations of shirts for survivors of violence 
 to decorate and contribute to the display. We are particularly in need of 
 yellow or beige shirts, but any donation is welcome.\n\nPlease send, or 
 drop off shirts, blouses, or t-shirts of durable material to The Women\'s 
 Building 3543 18th Street (at Valencia), San Francisco, CA 94110. For more

 Project---\nThe Clothesline Project is a visual display bearing witness to 
 violence against women. During the public display, a clothesline is hung 
 with shirts. Each shirt has been decorated to represent a particular 
 woman\'s experience, by the survivor herself or someone who cares about 
 her.\n\nWHITE for women who have died in violence.\nYELLOW or BEIGE for 
 women who have been battered or assaulted. \nRED, PINK, or ORANGE for women 
 who have been raped or sexually assaulted.\nBLUE or GREEN for women 
 survivors of incest or child sexual abuse.\nPURPLE or LAVENDER for women 
 who have been attacked because of their sexual orientation.\n\nThe San 
 Francisco NOW Education Fund is the local home of the the Clothesline
