 Not War!\n\n~ Santa Cruz Independent Media Center Orientation\n\nSunday, 
 June 11th\n7:00pm - 9:00pm\nResource Center for Nonviolence\n515 Broadway 
 (near Ocean Street)\n\nStarting at 7:00pm, Indymedia volunteers will 
 facilitate an orientation to\nSanta Cruz Indymedia and the global Indymedia 
 network. We'll be talking\nabout how to post news, photos, video and audio 
 to the site. We'll also\ndiscuss things that go on behind the scenes, like 
 how stories get made\ninto center column features. Depending on how many 
 people are present, we\nwill transition into various working groups focused 
 on keeping Santa Cruz\nIndymedia active in the community this summer and 
 into the fall.\n\nHave you enjoyed spending time at Santa Cruz Indymedia 
 and Indybay.org? Do\nyou appreciate it as a special tool for documenting 
 local activism and\nsharing event announcements? Would you like to know how 
 the website works?\nHave you thought about getting more involved? If so, 
 then Sunday's\norientation is for you. Learn more about Santa Cruz 
 Indymedia and how you\ncan help the website continue to be the useful 
 project that it is.\n\nIf you are passionate about subjects covered, or not 
 covered, on Santa\nCruz Indymedia, you are encouraged to come to Sunday's 
 orientation. There\nare no requirements as far as the amount of time you 
 have to offer or\ntechnical prerequisites. It's actually not that hard to 
 post to or edit\nthe site, and we can teach you everything you need to know 
 in a relatively\nshort time.\n\nAt Santa Cruz Indymedia's next orientation, 
 we will explain what the site\nis all about, how it does it, and how you 
 can help out. If you would like\nto get involved, at any level, come by and 
 find out more!\n\nIndymedia is a community project and needs your 
 perspective, voice,\npictures and/or audio so that a variety of people are
