DESCRIPTION:Please join us as we welcome Mayoral Candidate Ron Dellums to personally  
 share his vision of Oakland as a model city and how the arts play a  vital 
 role in it.  This is a free event designed to create a dialogue  with the 
 arts community, along with anyone interested in retaining and  promoting 
 the culture of Oakland.  As many of you know, I have been  active in the 
 arts community for over 15 years and I have never seen a  better 
 opportunity for the arts to thrive than now, in partnership with  Mr. 
 Dellums at City Hall.  We've also set up an online forum for you to voice 
 your opinions on  different topics concerning the arts including education, 
 economic  development and facilities.  We will use the forum to inform Mr.  
 Dellums' campaign as he implements a more participatory democracy with  the
