 St,SF  STILL IN JAIL  An evening in solidarity with Political Prisoners in 
 Haiti and Puerto Rico  *    Pierre Labossiere, Haitian community activist, 
 will speak on the US/UN Dirty War Against Haiti. Pierre will report on his 
 recent trip to Haiti during the inauguration of President Preval.  *   Film 
 showing: La Fanmi Selavi, filmed at a center for street children found­ed 
 by President Aristide in 1986. This powerful film highlights the struggle 
 for children’s rights in Haiti and includes interviews with five 
 children, their teachers, and President Aristide himself.  *  First-hand 
 report on the demonstration by singing political prisoners on the roof of 
 the Penitentiary. The prison takeover occurred as Preval was being 
 installed as President. United Nations troops shot and killed 10 of the 
 singing and chanting prisoners, inmates reported.  *   Music celebrating 
 the struggle of political prisoners in Haiti and Puerto Rico  *  Art 
 exhibit 'Not Enough Space' - works by Puerto Rican Political Prisoners 
 incarcerated for 25 years  Thursday, May 25th, 7–9 p.m.  Mission Cultural 
 Center for Latino Arts  2868 Mission Street, San Francisco (24th St. BART)  
           $5–7 donation requested. No one turned away for lack of funds.
