 Year Round Screenings Series  Whether you missed any of these films at last 
 year’s festival or loved them the first time around, our Year Round 
 Screenings program is a great way to get in touch with the Latino film 
 community - both in the Bay Area and abroad!  Admission to screenings is $6 
 for general audience and $5 for ILFF members, students, and seniors.  ILFF

 826-8009  Palermo Hollywood: A Tale from Buenos Aires  Dir. Eduardo Pinto 
 (2004, Argentina, 113 min)  Spanish with English Subtitles  Pablo and Mario 
 are best friends and petty thieves in the slums of Buenos Aires in the 
 aftermath of Argentina’s recent financial crisis. A kidnapping gone awry 
 triggers a chain of events that will both test their friendship and change

 involved in a struggle between angry locals and a multinational oil company

 established by European Jew fleeing persecution in the early part of the 
 20th century. The subsequent blending of Jewish and Mexican cultures and 
 customs in a near-mythic border city is the subject for Tijuana Jews, a 
 living testimony set against both conceptions and misconceptions about
