Monday, May 26, 2008 : Recent labor protests and bread lines in Egypt - in which the army was called in to organize distribution and restore order - present a stark contrast to the Egyptian government's narrative of impressive economic growth, which international financial institutions have validated. textBay to Breakers Must Be Abolished by ^
The horrors of the Bay to Breakers crowd in the downtown area are minimal compared to the trashing with human waste and garbage in and near Golden Gate Park, making a mess of people's homes, yards and our public sidewalks and streets. The people doing this are just drunks who do not contribute to any charity. This whole racket must end; the taxpayers are liable for all the damage and we cannot afford this. One lawsuit will certainly end this nonsense....

textCity encourages U.S. Navy to cap the whole shipyard encouraging the ploys of Lennar BVHP. by Francisco Da Costa
The U.S. Navy at a recent Restoration Advisory Board meeting - suggested capping the whole Hunters Point Naval Shipyard. This is totally wrong and goes against the mandate of the people of San Francisco - as mandated in Proposition P. Lennar has violated its Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA) on Parcel A and further revealed to the U.S. Navy the dubious ploys of Lennar and the City and County of San Francisco. In short this deal - if it goes through will adversely impact - the whole ...
