Mayor Villaraigosa admits he failed Los Angeles' animals 
The first quarter 2008 numbers are out. Sadly there was a huge increase in cat and dog intake and euthanasia in Los Angeles City animal shelters. Things are now worse than before Antonio Villaraigosa became Mayor, before he hired his friend so called "nokill" guru Ed Boks to head the Department. Thousands Celebrate 420 at Porter Meadow thousands of people got stoned on Four Twenty, 2008, despite university attempts to harsh their mellow. crowd participants noted the numbers appeared to be the biggest crowd ever for 420. diversity was awesome. "nadie es ilegal" and "disarm ucsc no war" appeared on large banners. there were kites, drum circles, face painting, all kinds of joints, bongs, pipes and ounces rolled into blunts....
