Ugandan Member of Parliament and gender activist Ms. Winnie Byanyima, Tanzania President Benjamin Mkapa and the minister for Industry and Trade for Tanzania, Dr. Juma Ngasongwa have been speaking out recently against rich countries agriculture subsidies, the WTO's unjust trade rules and the inability of poor Sub-Saharan countries to acquire generic forms of AIDS medicines.
