SF Gathering in Remembrance of Kirsten Brydum Close friends report that the body of San Francisco activist Kirsten Brydum was found Saturday in New Orleans, where Kirsten had traveled as part of a popular education tour. The City of Fresno evicted people who are already homeless, forcing them to leave the sidewalk in front of the Poverello House (a social service provider). Mesh fencing that circled the magnolia trees in Santa Cruz's Parking Lot #4 at noon on September 24th had been removed by 3:30pm and a painted cardboard banner hung proudly declaring, "Home of the Farmer's Market Drum Circle 10 Years Here!!"
