imageEyewitness Account Of Rachel Corrie's Murder By An Israeli Army Bulldozer
120_rachellaughing.jpgv44599.jpg
by Joseph Smith (USA)
I do believe it was intentional. I saw it, and I know he saw her, I know he did, and I know he knew she was still under the bulldozer when it backed up without raising its blade.... She was defending the house of a physician. ..They were not searching for tunnels or bombs either. We know what this looks like, they do it alot. It involves armored drills and bomb dogs and shooting at the ground, none of which was present here...

imageArmored Personnel Carrier Driver Responsible For Stopping Israeli Army Bulldozer
120_rachelwithbullhorn.jpgm44589.jpg
by The Observer (England)
For now, the official Israeli line is that the driver did not see Rachel through the bulldozer's thick bullet-proof glass. However, the spokesman acknowledged that the armoured personnel carriers (APCs) that accompany bulldozers are responsible for directing the drivers towards their targets. So why didn't the APC drivers get the bulldozer to stop? The IDF declined to comment....

textKristen Ess: 4,200 Palestinians On Hunger Strike by Kristen Ess, ISM
Several Palestinian journalists have been advised that Israeli Defense Minister Moufaz has put the Israeli army on alert. He is reportedly telling them to be ready for one of the biggest IOF attacks on Palestinians yet, as he predicts the Palestinian end of the cease-fire will not last through the month of September. He is seemingly unconcerned that the Israeli end of the cease-fire has failed to begin. An 11 year-old girl remains hospitalized after Israeli soldiers shot her in the Gaza S...

imageRachel's War
120_rachellaughing.jpg
by The Guardian (Britain)
I'm having a hard time right now. Just feel sick to my stomach a lot from being doted on all the time, very sweetly, by people who are facing doom. I know that from the United States, it all sounds like hyperbole. Honestly, a lot of the time the sheer kindness of the people here, coupled with the overwhelming evidence of the wilful destruction of their lives, makes it seem unreal to me. I really can't believe that something like this can happen in the world without a bigger outcry about it. I...

"The event lit a fire under the collective ass of the Portland activist scene, and for months afterwards the spirit of resistance remained high. The readership of portland indymedia increased immensely and kept growing. Bush did this city a favor by visiting that day, and he's about to do it again. Stay tuned to this website, where people are sure to be posting plans, meeting times, and downloadable protest materials. "...

textWho Forged the Letters that Sucked Us into War? Israel, Yellowcake and the Media by JERRY KROTH
The left incriminated that the reason Bush couldn't stop salivating over the prospect of invading Iraq was for its oil: ah yes, greedy Republicans, Texas oil magnates, Halliburton, insider wheeling and dealing. Sounds good, but was there anyone opining that the real reason we invaded Iraq was to keep Israel as the sole nuclear power in the Middle East? The discussion never moved in that direction. And it did not move there probably because the issue was never put on the table....
