Outsourcing Of Jobs At Valero Refinery
Valero has contracted with Altair Strickland to provide refractory services at the Valero Refinery in Benicia. Altair Strickland chose to use Diamond Refractory based out of Texas. Diamond Refractory will be employing a workforce from Texas to perform the service instead of utilizing members of the local community. "Officer-Involved Shooting" in San Jose; Bosnian Immigrant Killed
The officer continued backing away from the suspect and drew his firearm as the suspect continued to hit him. The officer fired several shots at the suspect and the suspect fell to the pavement.
