Michael Parenti will be speaking at a press conference against the Sleeping Ban in Santa Cruz (MC 6.36.010 a & b) on Tuesday, January 13, at 3:30PM outside Mayor Scott Kennedy's City Council meeting at Santa Cruz City Hall. In solidarity with 70,000 strikers' families, the Monterey Bay Central Labor Council (MBCLC) has launched picket action at Safeway stores in every community on the Central Coast.
