Sheriff Tom Allman on Federal Threats to Mendocino County's Marijuana Regulation (audio/mpeg 2.8MB) - by Christina AanestadThe Mendocino County Board of Supervisors voted to change it’s 9.31 program today, eliminating the 99 plant exemption and permitting program. Medical marijuana cultivators can grow no more than 25 plants per parcel in Mendocino County. The move follows federal threats against the county’s program. Mendocino Redwood Company Holds Public Meeting on New THP Process (audio/mpeg 6.6MB) - by Christina AanestadMendocino Redwood Company (MRC) is changing the way the company personnel drafts Timber Harvest Plans, and they’re looking for public input. The change would stream line the THP process with a property wide assessment of the land to base all THPs on.
