Justice for James Rivera; Police Murder in Stockton, Ca. Unarmed James Rivera was driving at normal speed to his home when he was rammed and turned around by a Stockton police car. Faith Groups Speak Out About the Homeless Issue (video/mp4 157.6MB) - by Mike RhodesOver 100 people attended a Press Conference today in front of Fresno City Hall to call on the city to stop the police and City Sanitation departments ongoing attacks against the homeless. Spokesperson Bill Simon, chairperson of the Bishop John Steinbock Homeless Advocacy Committee said the city has destroyed homeless peoples shelter and is now taking and destroying their blankets, winter coats, and even taking firewood that they use to keep themselves warm at night.
