10/24/14 at 4:50 p.m. Low Flying Jets Strafe San Francisco - by Abolish the Military
On Friday, 10/24/14, at 4:50 p.m., low flying jets strafed San Francisco, perhaps to celebrate the gambling racket at the baseball stadium swindle starting tonight at 5 p.m. This is our tax dollars to the military terrorizing the people of San Francisco for the benefit of a stinking, rotten, garbage , viciously anti-intellectual gambling racket, the only reason "professional" baseball, football, boxing and soccer exist. The sound was so terrible that it felt like these hoodlums were going t...

What do nation-states hate more than ISIS? Grassroots revolution, of course! - by Dave
What do nation states hate more than ISIS? A grassroots revolution, of course! The Free Syrian Army (FSA) with its checkered past and religious overtones is being urged to move into Kobane, where they are not welcomed by the indigenous Kurdish YPG Peoples Protection Units. Turkey and the US are encouraging the influx of nonrevolutionary nondemocratic organizations like FSA and Iraqi Kurdish ("Peshmerga") fighters into Kobane with the eventual aim of supressing the grassroots revolutionary str...

Turkey agrees to allow Peshmerga from Iraq into Kobane - by S
Turkey to allow Kurdish PUK troops from Iraq to pass Turkey and enter Kobane. YPG is not asking for this support. Indeed, it may turn into an occupation of revolutionary Kobane after ISIL has been kicked out, since Iraqi Kurdish PUK is not as left-leaning and democratic as the YPG. Kurdish militias in Iraq are unfortunately not revolutionary, which is why they enjoy endless US and EU support. PUK: Kurdish Patriotic Union.

Call to Donate Medical Aid to Kobane - by M
Kobane sorely needs medical supplies to maintain the defense of the city and many civilians. Doctors inside Kobane are fixing up people the best they can, including external fixation limbs broken by gunshot wounds, but still people are bleeding to death after reaching aid stations and while waiting at the border to be allowed to enter Turkey. IS also recently burned an entire supply warehouse belonging to a local Kurdish relief organization. We've formulated a list with suggested donations...

The Coming Alternatives and The Function of the Enemy - by Jacob Augstein and Gotz Eisenberg
Future criticism of capitalism is not a taboo any more. Why is there so little resistance against capitalism? Capitalism is a secular religion... Thanks to ISIS, "we" can forget all the other problems. If any enemy disappears through detente or capitulation, the possibility of shifting one's conflict to it also fades.
