Google Lawyer Jack Halprin Runs From Tenants He's Evicting After They Block His Bus - by Anti-Eviction Mapping Project
On December 16th, at 6:30 in the morning as it was still dark outside, tenants from 812 Guerrero and activists from Eviction Free San Francisco blocked the Google bus that Jack Halprin was going to ride, protesting his eviction of them. Cops And IFPTE 21 Push Hedge Funds While CCSF City Workers Unite Against Hedge Funds - by Labor Video Project
SF City And County Workers and Retirees protested the attempt to use city worker pension funds for purchase of hedge funds. The IFPTE Local 21 run by Bob Muscat and the Police Officers Association representatives were pushing for the use of city pension funds for these hedge funds. There are systemic conflicts of interests since some board members including Mayor Lee's appointee Wendy Paskin-Jordan has investments in hedge funds and actually sells them.
